The home building market is increasingly competitive with an influx of both new builders and established brands from Victoria and Queensland.
The category convention has always been to focus on the product from the builders’ perspective. The customer, and how they live their lives in their homes, had slipped from view.

Background

A retail offer was developed in conjunction with Actron Air offering free ducted air conditioning in all homes.
To differentiate McDonald Jones from the market an 80/20 brand/retail rule was adopted for the campaign.
The success of the offer has seen it continued in the market.
