Everdure by Heston Blumenthal is a range of barbeques made to revolutionise outdoor cooking. By combining the latest technology with a minimal aesthetic, Heston created a range to change the way people think about at-home barbecues.
We were tasked with developing a new global brand to represent this range of innovative new charcoal and gas BBQs, developed in collaboration between Australian manufacturer Everdure and the star chef.
Heston’s family crest, ‘Question Everything’, formed the basis of the new brand strategy – the ethos of innovation intersecting with the primitive cues of charcoal cooking methods.
The product’s distinctive design set the visual brand DNA. The vents on the product inspired a distinct pattern language, tilted to evoke the grill marks on a beautifully cooked steak. Campaign and global trade event collateral used language inspired by Heston’s mastery, and included a bank of charcoal-inspired video and photographic content that brought the sizzle to life.
