Enigma is seeking a confident and experienced Group Account Director to lead and inspire clients and teams across integrated clients in a period of rapid growth and change.

We’re an independent agency with 80 people across Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane. Genuine full-service, we have strategy, branding, creative, media, studio, PR, events and production all in-house. Our Sydney office of 20 people brings advertising and branding teams together to create beautiful, idea-led work for a diverse client base spanning global music streaming brands to trusted building companies and major retail groups.

You have 10+ years track record in client service, including managing significant business for top tier agencies. This role presents an opportunity to apply that experience and acumen to a nimble environment that can support your big ambitions with growth opportunities and a direct line to the leadership team. Supporting the MD and the ECDs in our Sydney office, you’ll bed down some exciting client wins, bring the love to established clients, and get heavily involved in pitching new business opportunities.

You understand and influence client business, not just advertising. You’re an opportunity spotter and a hunter of growth. You know how to win clients over and build enduring bonds. You know how to work with all stakeholders, internal and external, to achieve work that wins for all. You’re comfortable in all aspects of production and media delivery, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Being responsible for the day-to-day leadership of your accounts, the successful candidate will be proficient in:

  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with our longstanding clients; adding value to their projects, and contributing to innovative ideas
  • Managing a diverse portfolio, from one of the world’s most dynamic streaming brands, to home builder retail campaigns
  • Owning the room confidently, presenting and pitching
  • Overseeing and directing your clients’ projects, from inception to delivery, ensuring the highest levels of quality and flawless execution
  • Financial management of client budgets and projects within BCC and managing your team on accurate forecasting and budgeting
  • Contributing to company growth through organic business development
  • Working with the creative, production, studio and media team to conceptualise and deliver commercially viable work of excellent creative standards
  • Living and breathing their clients’ business, constantly thinking of ideas and ways to help them grow
  • Guiding the development of scopes, retainers, proposals and presentations
  • Strategic leadership and understanding of the business environment
