Ant’s dynamic digital leadership will forge a path for client success at a time when Enigma is on a run of wins - including Westfield Works, Monier, PGH Bricks, Bradford and a soon to be announced streaming giant.
A one-of-a-kind hybrid strategist and creative leader with over twelve years’ experience, Ant has built a huge reputation in the industry for leading teams at agencies and brands to take advantage of opportunities enabled by social, digital, content and emerging tech.
He has a proven track record of re-inventing the way channels can be used to deliver business results that has helped brands win the hearts and minds of Australian consumers. As strategy director he has led brand, campaign and digital strategies for clients including GoogleAndroid, Coca-Cola, YouTube, Tourism New Zealand, TAB, Twitter, Red Bull, Beats Music, ANZ Bank, Telstra and Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Ant says, ‘It feels great to put down my roots at Enigma. I’ve worked with (ECDs) Pete Buckley and Tim Brown before and know how ambitious they are creatively. There’s great creative opportunities here and I’m looking forward to making a big difference.’
While always applying foundational marketing principles and brand theory, he believes in thinking fast and creating iteratively to help businesses connect with their audience through campaigns that are insight-driven and rooted in culture.
‘It’s a huge coup to bring Ant on board. He’s an incredible mind and his pedigree speaks for itself. Enigma continues to build its strategic and creative offering to meet a rapidly evolving consumer environment, and Ant will have huge impact on the whole agency’s thinking’ says Lisa Sutton-Gardner, Enigma founder and CEO.
Prior to working in advertising Ant spent the first eight years of his career as an independent blogger and content creator on the internet – and today he still runs Fanbloodytastic - a daily newsletter to inspire creative professionals. Ant has been guest speaker at Frankfurt Book Fair, Sydney Design Festival, Adobe Creative Jam, Bigsound, AGDA NSW, and has developed and taught courses on creativity for social media with ADMA.
